KeroroWorld Forum Official Rules
In order for the community to stay safe, spam-free, and organized, the KW team has compiled a list of rules for the forum. These rules are also help the members of KW know what NOT to do and what consequences will be dealt for certain actions.
Before we issue official warning points however, the KW staff will issue a PM warning to warn members and make sure not to repeat the same mistake for warning points. Certain rules will not warrant a PM warning and will be given an auto warn/ban.
Do not ask for any of the KW staff to repeal or remove your ban/warning for the sake of removal. If you feel that your warning/ban is unjust, PM one of our staff members.
Account Rules:
One account per user
Each user is allowed to create one account on Keroro World. You may not create a second account in order to get around a name change rule, to clear a warning or ban, or to give yourself more referrals. If you have a family member who lives with you and shares your computer that wants to create an account, please send one of the mods a PM saying that they will be creating an account and be using your computer.
Any users found to have multiple accounts will have all accounts after the first banned and deleted and the original account will receive a 30% warning. Any users making an account after receiving this warning will have their account banned for a week. Any user that makes a second account while banned will have an extra month added to their ban and the secondary account will be banned and deleted.
No profane or obscene usernames
User names must not contain any profane or obscene words. This can include racism, sexual words or phrases, offensive material, etc. Any account that contains profane or obscene words will automatically be deleted. If a user makes a second account with the same name, they will be given a permanent ban on their IP address.
Posting Rules:
-No Spam
Spam stands for “Stupid Pointless Annoying Message”. In short, do not post random words or go off topic. Do not post “akslhjfldkjs” or something similar just to get your post count up or to annoy others. If a member replies to spam, that is also considered spam as the member is most likely complaining that there is spam.
Warning Level: 10% for each spam-filled post
Expiration Date for Warning: One Month
-No Double Posting
Double posts are not allowed at the KW forums. Double posts maybe the cause of a slow computer at times, but please do try not to double post on purpose.
Times “appropriate” to double post:
-updating a fan fic
-posting new artwork
-club announcements
-posting news or important info
-ETC/when absolutely necessary
But please, if you can, don't double post. If you can, limit double posting as much as possible. Also, don't double post just for the sake of reviving a dead thread. Triple posts are not allowed.
Warning Level: 10% for each double post
Expiration Date for Warning: Two Weeks
-No Reviving “Dead” Threads
This is also known as 'necro'ing' or 'necroposting'. Threads become dead after a month of no new posts. Posting or “reviving” old threads will not benefit the Forums, so please when possible, do not accidentally or purposely revive a dead thread. Certain times a thread can be revived is if the author of the thread is posting new artwork, a new edition to a fan fiction, or something else that is important to the thread. Threads that are older than three months (90 days) can’t be revived for any reason. [Updated - 1/22/12]
Warning Level: 10% for each time a member revives thread
Expiration Date for Warning: One Month
-No swearing, advertising, or defaming
(No PM warning for these rules).
Swearing:
Some KW members are younger, so please limit swearing. At times, it could be “appropriate”, but most of the time, it won’t be tolerated. Do not swear just for the sake of swearing; it doesn’t make one look good in front of other members. The KW staff will not mind if the swear word isn’t directed at a specific member or if the word isn’t too “bad” in meaning.
Warning Level: 20% for each time a member uses swear words inappropriately
Expiration Date for Warning: Two Months
Advertising:
All outside links and other advertisements are meant to stay in a member’s signature. Feel free to link to your art galleries or 'clickable pets', but we will not tolerate members who do so just for the sake of page views or clicks.
Do NOT join in order to advertise your company, product, service.etc. You will be immediately banned. If you continue to create accounts in order to advertise, you will be issued a permanent IP ban.
Warning Level: 20% for each time a member advertises
Expiration Date for Warning: Two Months
Defamation:
Do not insult, defame, or abuse other members of the Forum. This is one of the most serious infractions in the Forum and for good reason. Defamation is not tolerated and to defame another member is to defame the whole Forum.
Warning Level: 30% for each time a member defames another member
Expiration Date: Three Months
NEW RULE
You may not in any circumstances post on an advertiser's profile with hateful comments or any comments in general. This includes PMing them, giving negative reputations.etc Instead of posting on their profile, notify a staff member and we'll check it out for ourselves.
Warning Level: 10% for each time a member defames an advertiser
Expiration Date: One Month
-No Mini Modding
Mini modding is when a member begins to tell another member that they are not obeying the rules when that member is not a Moderator/Admin. In short, acting like a mod even though that member isn’t one. Mini modding in fact lowers the chances of becoming a mod of KW.
Warning Level: 20% for each time a member mini mods
Expiration Date: Two months
Image Rules:
(No PM warning for this rule).
-No posting any type of inappropriate pictures on the forums at all. This can include any pictures with direct or implied nudity, pictures that contain excessive amounts of blood and gore, or any pictures that are not appropriate for younger children.
-No inappropriate pictures in your signature/avatar.
No porn or hentai in your signature or in your avatar. Pretty much self-explanatory.
Warning Level: 20% for each inappropriate image
Expiration Date: Three Months
-No Art Theft Allowed
If you are using artwork that isn’t yours, please credit the original artist if possible. Being a fellow artist myself, I don’t like people stealing my art without crediting me. If it was accidental art theft, please apologize to the original artist if possible and put some credit information about who made your banner/avatar/image.
Warning Level: 20% if found with image that needs to be credited, but isn’t
Expiration Date: Two Months
-No signature images larger than 500x200
Images that are too large in a signature not long take longer to load thus slowing down the forums, they are often an eyesore and stretch pages.

Report:
When a rule is broken, report the post/member. That’s what that button is for right? Don’t mini mod or try to enforce the rules yourself. Reporting is encouraged to help the KW staff keep track of infractions.
-Keep in mind that there will be separate rules for specific forums like the Clubs forum. These rules apply to the whole Forum. If new rules need to added, one of our staff members will add more rules (Ex: reputation abuse, etc.).
Follow these rules and your KW forum experience will be better overall.
