Ah, yes. That's what I had too. Well, the fix is easy. As in, even I can do it.
There is a patch available on the internet, you basically drag your .nds file on it, and it'll create both a patched version and a back-up 9in case you wanted to). You can then put the patched version on your flashcard/emulator.
If it look like the patch did nothing with the file, don't worry, that's supposed to happen.

I'd link to the patch in this thread, but I'm not sure if anti-antipiracy patches fall under warez. In case they do (I'd like someone to clarify this for me) then I'll just PM you a patched version of the rom, or the patch itself.

Also, as for some input: from what I can find in the rom, the Keronians all have a different amount of skills. They all a skill called 'Skill50' (each skill consists of four different files, but that's irrelevant here). I'm guessing this is the Mystic Arte. The rest of the skills are numbered 0 to X. There's also a SkillTarget, but I don't know what it does, or if it is used as a skill in the game. My guess is that it's a different sort of action entirely. But the amount of skills they have should give you some sort of checklist, at least. Remember, these do not include the Mystic Arte or SkillTarget.
Also, since Kururu has next to none, I think that these may refer to the Attack Skills, with the sword icons.

Keroro has 24. Tamama has 21. Giroro has 22. Kururu has 12. Dororo has 22.
I'm also counting 44 different Supports. My guess is they're the Spells, since Keronians and Enemies share them. Meaning having them separate from the other skills is easier. But there's a (Japanese) text file explaining, so translating that would clear the issue.

Fun fact: Every character has 6-7 Win animations, but Keroro has 9, and Giroro only 4.

NEED HELP: I know how to extract the text files for, per example WeaponData, StrategyInfo and CodeNameData, so the translation may be easier. However... I can't read Japanese for ****. If someone who can is interested in these files, let me know.

Hope this was useful... in some way.

Extract those text files and PM me the links. By the way, you may not post the links here of any patcher for the game or the game itself here. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for the heads up! Keroro Blush
BTW, these new smileys ROCK!

It's okay, I understand that. I've PMed you the link to the text files. Word should be able to open the files, or otherwise any other thing that displays Japanese characters.
I basically deleted every single thing present in the rom, except for the .dat files which hold all the text (as far as I know). So basically, all the names and folder structures are left unchanged. Not all files may be used in the actual game, since I found a couple called Growthrate.dat and SecretTreasurePass.dat
I've also left the font files alone, just in case.

As I suspected, enemies use the same skills as the ones the platoon uses. About two of them also use Skill50. There are about 45 enemies in here, which may or may not include the bosses. Recolors are probably not included, since, if I were the developer, it's easier to just shift some palette files for them.
Can I get a link to those text files? I can start translating them.
Since it hasn't been mentioned yet, when you can revisit the first Medieval town in the 2nd half of the game, the Arena is open.

I haven't finished it yet, but so far it's Standard Tales Arena combat:
- Choose one of the 5 Frogs (solo combat)
- Choose a Round you want to battle in (Choose 1 and beat it to unlock 2, etc)
- You then will go to the Arena and do five back to back battles with various enemies
- You cannot use items in this place( least thus far, I'm still doing the battles)
- When you win, you are rewarded a prize. Level 3 gives you a weapon for whoever won that round ( ex. Giroro beats 3rd level and gets a new gun equip)
-When you lose, you return to the lobby with 1 HP (save at the Inn per Arena trip)

Usually, making it so far in the Arena will unlock cameo battles, so I'm working to see if a Tales cameo is in this game.
In Tales of Heart, you could fight Guy Cecil in the Arena, so maybe someone will cameo here.

I'll be working on Arena stuff for right now. Shall I add this to the first post?

Update: Ok, round 5 for me in the Arena is too much for me at my level, at the moment.
Why?
You fight yourself and the rest of the platoon per battle that round! No items still.

I was reading through the walk-thru and now Im stuck in the snow forest village.
The walk-thru said to go to a wood house at the top of the map. I checked every house and I still can't find the correct house.

Really, I tried entering but it denies me entrance.
@ Pikuku: Leave the town and head to the forest to the west. I had a friend playing my game yesterday and he got confused there too.

Alright, Tamama's arte list is about done(I know he's missing one more move, at least), so can I have feedback on if everyone is cool with this format?
Again names in quotations are NOT the official name and just names I made up for placement till officially translated.
The artes are listed exactly how they look on the menus. Your normal forms attack moves always come first, then Musha, Pirate, and Knight.
The support moves follow the same format: Normal, Musha, Pirate, Knight.
Magic is the same.
Last is Mystic Arte.

I'll need to recheck Kululu to make sure this is right cause his list is a bit off, but some of his spells make him turning into his other forms.

Yes this is true! Some skills that your characters can use, can be also used by some monsters. I got your file by PM and I'll be sending it to our translator.
Thanks for your help.
Could you guys translate what the numbered box is in the tactics page?
