I'm going to keep hunting for the minimum attack skill gunpla. Going by the Tamama vid, there is one in the game.
03-30-2010, 10:47 AM
Eh? a minimum attack gunpla? can you spare the links?
03-30-2010, 10:54 AM
It's shown in the vid for Tamama's Mystic Arte. He only does one damage the whole fight.
It's also shown in the 790+ hit combo vid as Kero, Tama and Doro are all doing 1 damage, but look to be max level since they have 50 CC. Thus Gunpla involved, if not a title.
Tales games are known for doing combos, so it would make sense an item like this should be in the game.

Hi. I'm new to the forum (and new to the posting)
I've been curious about the devil/bat symbol in the bestiary for a while. For example, it appears for the enemy 017 next to one of the potential drop items. I've been trying for a long while, and I have not been able to get that drop.
So now I'm curious. Does the symbol represent a rare drop, or a drop I can't get without a certain item, or something else?

Sadly, I don't think any of us know right now. I've been trying to figure it out myself.
I'm going to try making Dororo and Kululu steal from those enemies and see if anything pops up. I think it is rare drops, but unless someone that knows Japanese and can read the fighting manual, we can only guess.
I still haven't found a clear answer to how you get stars on the monster book yet.
Welcome to the forum, BTW.

Update: Yet again I made a huge mistake. Here is the updated version
Restarting the game
If you want to restart story mode but keep your characters at where they are at, go to "load" mode and press "X" on the game you beat.
Keep in mind that you will lose certain stuff. Here's a list of the things you will lose upon restarting the game and have been confirmed:
1. Legendary weapons (the six key items neccessary to beat Gemumu)
2. Summons obtained through story mode (this means any character that is in-game. You won't lose any character that only shows up as a summon in game)
3. In-game summon list (meaning that you will have to set up your summon list again if you ever want to use them at any time).
4. All dungeons are resetted (meaning the navigator will reset for every dungeon, all chests will contain the same itemss as before, and all the switches in Morlia Gallery have been set back to normal)
5. Mini-game data will be lost (any mini-game that you do that has saved data, like the Colosseum, will be set back the way it was before you entered in the previous game).
6. You have never talked to any of the characters (This means that it's like you never talked to any of the characters (but you still keep the items you got from them), so say if you talked to someone who gave you a sandwich recipe, they will give it to you again after restarting the game)
7. Story mode key items (Anything like the world map or the monster list have to be re-obtained. Unforunatly, the world map will be resetted. But the monster list will still have the same info in it as last game)
8. The weapons, items, and codenames your platoon carried will be resetted (you still get to keep them though. You just have to re-equip them)
9. Any form of transportation (You lose both ships and the bird. But don't worry, they can be re-obtained)
10. Ability to restart the game again (Until you beat Final Gemumu again)
11. The roster of the characters will reset (as in like who is fighting and who you are playing as. It will be resetted to the default roster)
12. BR gauge will be empty
I'm sure that's all of them
Now for the list on what you will keep and have been confirmed:
1. Gold, gradepoints, and the amount of time you played
2. Weapons, code names, and gunpla (the legendary and starter weapons will be lost however. The starter weapons will be re-obtained immediately upon restarting so no one will notice that. But if you kept them upon restarting, you will notice that you only have one of each starter)
3. Monster list data (you actually have to re-obtain the list in order to see it again)
4. Any recipe (might not be true for some of them but I'm sure that all of them are kept)
5. Non-story mode items (like the medicines or ingredients)
6. Moves and the move list (unlike other stuff, the move list is actually kept. Also your Hi-Ougi and bonus artes from Morlia Gallery are kept)
7. Access to Morlia Gallery (all chests are restted including the ones containing the extra moves in them (surprisingly, even though you actually keep those moves upon restarting))
8. Kero cards and places to buy and battle them
9. All levels, stats, and health
10. Non story mode summons (of course the list of the in-battle summons will be resetted)
11. All the levels you unlocked (Just in case you noobs who didn't know what those levels are, it goes from Easy, Medium, Hard, Very hard, and Unknown)
12. Anything you obtained in your guide book
I'm sure that's it.
If you are wondering whether to restart the game or not, just restart it. You have like 3 save spaces and could use one of them upon restarting.
(Boy that's a lot of info to type
)
Also, any of you know where to get the Taiko-drum master summons? I've been looking all over for that and never found it.

Wow! That's some great news. Mind if I add that tot he first page?
Making sure, when you start a new game, just start like normal on a new game or what? I wanna replay the game on Unknown, but I think mine only had 4 modes, not 5.
What are the legendary weapons? Cause I'm still not strong enough to go through the dungeon fully on hard mode right now. I can barely make it down 4 floors, but I'm only level 80. Heh.
Do you know if Grade shop gets better weapons then those 700 grade ones?

1. Sure
2. If your starting a new game with "はじめて," the only thing you keep are the levels you unlocked. If you restart it the way I told you ("X" on load screen), then the effects I just announced will take place. But when you restart the game, it won't save automatically. So if you restarted the game but don't like it, then go ahead and turn the game off and continue the game you beat.
Also, there are 5 levels
やさし=easy
ふつう=medium
むずかし=hard
マニア=very hard (unlocked after beating Lord Agon (I think))
アンノウン=unknown (unlocked after beating Copy Robo Gemumu)
3. The legendary weapons are the key items required to obtain to defeat Gemumu. I'm not sure if they are called weapons because they are called "densetsu sobi" ("densetsu" means "legendary") and "legendary weapons" in Japanese is "densetsu buki". But I call them legendary weapons since when you battle the three sisters all at the same time, you are forced to wield them as weapons (notice that you have increased health and a probability of your CC changing when battling them).
4. They don't. Plus those weapons are only useful for CC points. Not for attack stats. So if I were you, I would ignore them

The stars represent that you have a complete data on that particular monster. Everything including what you can steal from them and what they drop. Also, the Gemumu mark next to those items are a rare drop. You can not. I repeat... YOU CAN NOT get those rare items by stealing them. Stealing items counts as another drop.

Combined your double post, though thanks for that info.
Glad to see another that can read the language, or knows some of the stuff us that know zip of the language do.
That's how you get it? Weird, I don't get why I got a star on the first two girls, but zip on the 3rd one. Just gotta make sure next time.
I never noticed that with the weapons. I feel silly, I thought they had gotten a title or some thing. Thanks for clearing that up.
One more question: Where is Copy Robo Gemumu?
Part of the bonus Dungeon? I need to level up more and finish it already. Hate that robot boss the most in the game now.
Ok, I'm going to spend this 1.1k grade on other things then. Thanks.
I'll add your info tomorrow.
