Oh, my bad. I just realized that was what everyone gets. Turns out you just talk to Oyuki (the Koyiku looking person) and leave town, then go back to her and she asks you to get certain items (most likely you should have them by now), then talk to her again and hand them to her. Sorry for worrying you there. But these codenames really don`t do much so I would just ignore them if I were you
Edit: My main used to be a team of Giroro, Dororo, and Kururu. I played as Giroro. But then I realized that I should be Dororo so he became my main. I used this match-up because Dororo is the fastest melee character in it so he could easily make the enemies flinch, Giroro is a ranger so he could keep the enemies away from Kururu, and Kururu is a mage which are very powerful and can deliver the final blow to boses.
Also, I don`t know if you do get a codename for completing the book. I only have 95% of it done. And you do not get a codename for beating them. You get it cause your team went into a huge argument before that because of a spell the girls put on them and they broke it because of their friendship.
Very nice team format and well thought. Giroro really is great and keeping enemies off someone near him and is great for stalling.
So far,I haven't seen anyone else use Tamama on here. =( I wonder if he's bad or something cause I love using him, even though he's not the best at crowd control until he gets his 3rd pirate and Musha moves. Really, he only gets great after his last moves are obtained. I like how he can stall, but Giroro has better defense, least in my game.
Huh? But I got two codenames from beating the purple hair girl and the girl with the whip the first times I fought them. I got a star next to them in the book too.
I don't mean at the final match with them, but the first times you meet them.
Ahh so that was why they were all so mad at each other and you had to do those mini games to get them back.
Tamama requires to move in very close to the enemy. I know he has a high attack, but he also has low defence. Dororo has lower attacks and lower defence but he can easily avoid the enemy with his speed. Plus he also has a ranged attack. Also, Tamama might be a good supportive character but he can only clear one character of all status conditions at a time (Dororo can do it for everyone at once). And sure he can heal everyone but only by a very small amount (as opposed to Kururu who heals almost half of everyone`s health). Plus it takes a while for Tamama to do it.
Probably cause you did something else like get a certain combo. You can get a codename for that.
(Below is pretty much a summary of what happened before fighting the three sister)
They were still mad at each other before the final battle and refused to co-operate properly (however, it didn`t effect the battles though), so just before the final battle, Giroro tried to take those three on by himself but got blown back by a forcefield, then Kururu with the same outcome, then Tamama, and finally Dororo. Keroro saw what happened and tried to get them to stand. But they had to retreat. Then Keroro apologized to everyone that he shouldn`t have just watched them hurt themselves and was a failure of being the leader. Then everyone else (except Kururu) apologized to each other. Kururu then realized their fighting was the sister`s fault and returned to where they were. Then with the power of their friendship, they had the ability to weild the legendary weapons (they couldn`t weild them before because if they did, they would be cursed. That would explain the weird music after you beat Area the first time). So they fought and of course... the Keroro platoon won. The three sisters asked Keroro if it was alright with him that the game world gets destroyed (since Gemumu tried combining the Earth and the game world after he heard Kururu saying that the switches to warp worlds were bugged and the world`s were trying to combine, thus explaining the monsters coming out of the game). Keroro stated that there is a way to save both planets even if they unsealed the door to Gemumu (they knew that the worlds would be able to combine if the door was unsealed). He then stated, "It doesn`t matter who your friends and enemies are. If everyone works together, then they could save the world." The sisters put that into thought and decided to help them (thus explains why you would have the three sisters as support character).
And that`s all I`m going to explain for now

No, it`s before and after you fight the three sisters
And also, (I know you`ve asked Yark this but seing as how I told Yark how to reset it, I`ll answer) resetting the game can be both good and bad at the same time. It depends how you look at it. I`ve resetted the game like 5 or 6 times now and I`ve gotten tons of good benefits from it (well, from my viewpoint anyways). If you want to know what happens, look up post #217

Yeah, Tamama has some range though. His 3rd musha move gives him decent range and knocks flying enemies down. His quick dash punch moves allows him to move into an enemy fast and it tends to stun right away allowing him to combo with his rapid punches.
His defense doesn't seem that bad in my game and him and Giroro have the same gundams equiped. It's not that much lower to him and I don't use + prem stat items.
Dororo AI is very horrible though. After using Giroro and letting the AI on Tamama fight...Tamama has bad AI too. Giroro's AI is actually really smart and reliable. Tamama and Dororo have the Guy and Luke curse from Tales of the Abyss. That means the melee fighters AI is so horrible that unless you control them, they tend to kill themselves.
I pretty much use Tamama as a Tank to keep enemy on him while Dororo and Giroro fight. All of his attacks do have a slow start up, but when chained, they get much faster. He still does leave the enemy with a frame to recover from a stun though, unless he's doing punch attacks.
Heh. Now I'm liking using Tamama more. He's not too great, but I think he's good when I user controls him, but sucks when the computer uses him. He's great when he can combo though. Dororo does beat him out comboing, hands down. Tamama's best move for stunning downs the enemy, which sucks.
Thanks for explaining the story of what happened there. Now things are making more sense in the game. I was wondering why I got them as support characters.
Maybe later you could explain what started them arguing in the town and making them all split up.
Oh, so comboing them nets you the codename?

Yeah. I would have gotten Tamama, but I found Dororo an easier to play as character. Plus I wanted it to be a melee, range, and magic trio so that`s another reason why mine was like that.
Getting combos like 25, 50, or 100 can get you a combo codename. It`s easier to do on boses though.
Have you noticed a huge yellow flash when going into that city where they split up cause of anger?

Where is that? and yark, is it Ok I gave him the files that ruka should have done right now?

I'm backwards cause I found Dororo more confusing when I first used him for some reason while Tamama was more clean cut in combat. Punch, kick, kill, and repeat. Plus, I couldn't set up as fast combo with him for awhile. I didn't really use him till I was forced to.
Yeah, he's really good once his move list gets bigger. Keroro too.
Oh! So that's the codenames I got were for! Ok, thanks much.
Yeah, after the flash they were all arguing with each other. I'm guessing Keroro had to prove himself to them is why you had to do those mini games? Or at least he was trying to just get them to work together for a bit.

That would be がくもんのまち, the city you go to before going to the dungeon where you battle the three sisters.
Yeah, that flash was caused by the three sisters causing them to argue.
The argument started when Keroro stated they should continue looking for the last legendary weapon. Tamama complained that he was hungry and wanted to take a break then Giroro got impatint with him and told him that that`s why he is still a Second Class Private. Kururu got made at Giroro cause he annoys him, Giroro and Kururu insult each other for a while, Tamama told them to shut up, Keroro told those three to stop arguing and listen to his orders, Dororo rebelled against Keroro, and eventually they left each other.
Also, when Keroro was doing those challenges. He didn`t care about his platoon. He only cared about getting the 4 keys to the dungeon which each member of the platoon caried. The platoon members reufused to give them up until Keroro beats them in their challenges. Of course they joined the platoon again, still angry.

Wow, major thanks for explaining this. That was one part of the story I really did want to know what was going on cause I've seen Tamama, Giroro and Kululu argue with Keroro, but when Dororo rebelled was when you could tell something was up.
Interesting, that whole time I thought that Keroro was the only one that was unaffected. So he was under the spell the whole time too and just wanted to get things done. They really weren't getting along for awhile there.
Only if you want to explain, but what was Dororo's challenge exactly? Seems like Kululu was a "Guess right" thing, Tamama's was just to beat him in combat and Giroro's seem to just be doing fast target hitting. Tamama and Giroro's made sense to how they are.
I'm going to keep grinding for that Exp Gundam. Need 3 of them.
