RPG Forum rules:

1. Please follow the Keroro World Official Rules.
You may read and go over the rules here. These rules apply to the entire forum. http://keroroworld.com/forums/showthread.php?tid=54

2. No sexual themes or harsh language.
As implied in the official rules, cursing is not allowed. Little swear words are fine, depending on your characters persona, but remember that there are younger members on the forum.
Sexual themes are PROHIBITED in roleplay. Any sexual action in a roleplay will instantly give you a warning/ban.
Make sure to keep your posts PG to PG-13.

3. Start off with an “Intro” Thread
One intro thread should be initially made to introduce the story to the members. If enough members join in (3 pages of signups/applications minimum, including the first page), then the creator renames it as a “sign up thread”. The roleplaying then can begin in a separate thread. If the applications take up less than 3 pages, however, the RP will need to begin in the same thread.

4. Create Rules
If you are creating a new RPG thread, make sure to include rules.
When including rules, please state how members add their characters to the roleplay.
Ask for Bio's.

5. Keep the RPG on topic to the thread.
Make sure that if you join a Roleplay, to stick to the plot. Corrupting the plot is not allowed, as it can effect the entire roleplay and send it down hill.
Making mini plots, or added problems to the plot is up to the ‘Games Master’ and current members in the roleplay.

6. Use some sort of OOC.
Or also known as Out Of Character. This is to let members know that you are not speaking in character.
When a person doesn’t use some sort of OOC, then the members posts can get confusing. Making it hard to tell when a person is replying to the roleplay itself, or letting other roleplayers know whats going on.

7. Please try to use grammar. ‘Chat form’ is fine.
Please use grammar, and keep your posts easy to read. We would prefere if you didn’t use chatspeak. Use one of the following ways to Roleplay.
The main difference between the two is a paragraph formation, and the sentence.
If you are starting a new roleplay, please state which form of roleplay you would like in your rules.

Chat Formation Example
Keroro: -starts to build some gunpla- Tamama! Hand me some of that paint, de arimasu.

Paragraph Formation Example
Keroro looked at Tamama with a stern look, his eyes gleaming at the shine of the new figurine infront of him. He waved his hand lazily, as the bottle of paint was too far away. “Hey Tamama! Hand me that bottle of paint, de arimasu.”

8. Listen to the Games Master.
The Games Master is the member whom has created the thread. They are the one that you will listen to if joining the RPG. If you do not listen to tha Games Master, they have permission to PM one of the staff members and report you.
They are also there to make sure you are following RPG rules.
There can be mulitple games masters to a RPG thread; this to make sure the RPG is in line.
If you are not a games master, please do not mini mod, and just report.

9. Start with a Plot.
Please do not create a RPG thread if there is no plot to it. If you create a RPG thread with no plot, it will be locked.
When creating a plot, make sure that it follows the rules.

10. Do not copy an already used plot.
Believe it or not, this can be counted as stealing. There can be ‘simular’ plots, but copying is not allowed.
See to it, that if there is already a RPG with a plot idea. Join it before creating a new thread.

11. Do not God Mod or Power Play.
The most common problems in a RPG. This is making your character invincible, or using another character without permission. GM and PP is not allowed as it is unfair to other members and very annoying.

God Modeling
Making your character invincible. This normally happens in a physical conflict with another character, and when a member tries to make them ‘perfect’. This is very unfair to the other members, and will get you no where. Example of God Modeling is having a character dodge EVERY attack, and not allowing another's character a chance to act.
In a nutshell: Over Dominance of everyones personas.
If a character has a high or powerful social status, this is different from GM.

Power Playing
This is when you use another member’s character without permission. Including when you hit a character without giving the person to choose what their character will do.
Example:
Keroro punched Giroro across the room.
A way to keep this from power play is to leave an opening. If you are Keroro, you just took control of Giroro without giving him a chance to act.
Example:
Keroro threw his fist at Giroro, aiming for a punch.
This leaves an opening for Giroro to act, making it fair to the member playing his character.
The only time Power Play is allowed, is when you have gained permission from the member to use that character.
