As long as it's not Chatango I support this. And I like the idea where you have to be a member of the forums to chat on it.

I don't like chatango design too. Yes, shoutbox is better.

The chatroom is a great idea to bring back, but I'm worried for the members of the chatroom that don't want the members to come rushing in. (I won't name people since we have grown to become great friends) But still, with the seperate rooms, organization seems possible and more reasonable. I would agree 100%, but I'll give it a good 80%. :/

So I'm appearantly a shoutbox/chatbox like Chatango will not be coming back, so I'm guessing if this were to pass, it'll be a MyBB-embed shoutbox or something very similar.
If we get a MyBB shoutbox, I don't believe this would be possible. Plus, shoutboxes/chatboxes are not forums. They do not need to be divided into topics, they are usually general.

TuT~ Can we just have it as a button on the right/left which scrolls down into a small window/box or something? -shot-
That way, we don't need a new tab and it won't take up extra(permanent) space on the main forum.
