A feature I have seen many times on forums: User Groups.
Simple as can be, users are allowed to open groups. In a sub-forum, each group gets a therad that only those groupmembers can read.
Well, that´s basicly it. Usergroups would be fun, because you could make the RPG-wars more secret and we could open Groups like the KWF-veterans ( User from the old board) that would be a sign for new users that those people know what they are doing.
This could be a possibility that we could look into.
I can however see this making things a bit cluttered and difficult to keep up with. For each new user group and subforum we make, it takes time to select all the users, give them individual permissions for this, and make a special sub-forum for them.
I like this idea, but I'm just not sure how well it would work with the setup we have. Only admins and Global mods have the ability to create user groups and sub-forums, so this would put a lot of work onto Koi, Wulf, and TB.

There are some plugins/updates to make/organize some usergroups (including one where people can choose which usergroups they want to join and a mod or someone gives them approval for joining).
I agree with Shiroi that it'd be too cluttered for now, but it's a possibility.
It seems like a good idea... Maybe we could take a test to see which usergroup we fit into, like a personality test or something.... Just a thought.

Yeahhh I'm not quite sure that would work, just my opinion anyway...
Can't be done.
MyBB usergroups are categorized as "members, staff members, team members.etc etc". More usergroups will just add to the clutter and more work.
I don't understand why private forums are even needed.
