With the whole advertiser bot plague, this may be useful. A CAPTCHA is one of these things that makes you enter a string of letters or words into a box. The letters or words are randomized, as well as distorted, to prevent bots from entering in these sequences. Only a human is capable of recognizing and inputting the string. This could help with the problem as the advertisers appear to be generated by a bot.

We probably should get one. But then again we can kill them if we like. Not very useful but it's still fun. Either way, the advertisers aren't much of a problem for me.

Well that will solve the bot problem. But the human advertiser problem will not be stopped.
Yes, but human advertisers are not as frequent and could probably be dealt with easily. Plus they're pretty easy to spot.
